Employment and Community Supports
Our employment and program coordinators recognize that involvement with the criminal justice system negatively affects women’s employment opportunities.
Just In Time Program
Elizabeth Fry Toronto’s new Just in Time program offers meaningful support for women involved in the criminal justice system who have experienced gender-based violence. Using the evidence-based Critical Time Intervention (CTI) model, the program focuses on key moments of transition when trauma-informed support can make all the difference. With a strong focus on financial literacy, job readiness, and healing from trauma, Just in Time helps women rebuild their lives with confidence and stability. This work is grounded in a trauma-informed, gender-responsive, culturally sensitive, and harm-reduction approach.
