Ways You Can Volunteer

By donating your time, you can make a difference in the lives of women we serve. Our volunteers are essential to providing a number of services, including: court support, fundraising, social programming, research, administration, communications, event planning and administration. Bingo Support Volunteer- Learn More

Volunteers in this role will support our charitable gaming fundraising efforts, through our partnership with Delta Bingo & Gaming. Volunteers greet guests of Delta Bingo Etobicoke, support Bingo games and speak with patrons about the work we do at Elizabeth Fry. This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about customer service, and prefers occasional shifts with a flexible schedule. 

Court Support Volunteer

Volunteers in this role will work closely with our Brain Injury Bail Court Navigators, court personnel, duty counsel, and other agencies at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre. Volunteers will offer practical and emotional support to women-identifying and non-binary individuals who are in custody or being released, and their families. This position is ideal for those who are interested in court processes, community support and have availability to commit to one 3-hour shift per week.

General Support Volunteer

Volunteers play a vital role by assisting staff with research, communications, administrative duties and event support. This position is ideal for those who want to share their expertise and skills to support our various Elizabeth Fry teams.
