Just In Time Program
Our Just in Time program offers emotional and practical support during life’s most challenging transitions.
The Just In Time program combines the proven evidence-based Critical Time Intervention (CTI) model with trauma-informed financial literacy training and one-on-one mentorship. We’re here to support women identifying individuals who are experiencing gender-based violence (GBV) and are involved in the legal system by helping them navigate challenges, build stability, and take steps toward a safer future.
Using CTI, Elizabeth Fry Toronto provides personalized case management that helps individuals strengthen their ties to family, community resources, and essential services.
Clients will have access to intensive, trauma-informed wraparound support; including help with housing, finances, employment, education, mental health, wellness, life skills, parenting, and building community connections.
We understand that a lack of financial knowledge and resources can be a major barrier to leaving an abusive relationship or staying out of one. Our Just In Time program will focus on a trauma-informed financial literacy portion, delivered through hands-on workshops, seminars, and interactive sessions. This portion of the program will help participants build confidence with money, understand their financial habits, and develop real-life strategies for stability and long-term growth. This will include recognizing the signs of a financially abusive relationship and building individualized financial safety plans for exiting abuse.
We put each woman at the center of her own journey. Our team works closely with clients to help them identify their goals and service needs, empowering them to make decisions pertaining to planning and service-delivery.
