The Elizabeth Fry Society Of Toronto
Providing transitional housing and community support for women who are or who have been in the criminal justice system

"The degree of civilization in a society is measured by the way it treats its prisoners."
- Fyodor Dostoyevsky
The Elizabeth Fry Society of Toronto, established in 1952, serves women in the criminal justice system.
We are the only social service agency in Toronto with a specific mandate to provide programs and services for and about women in conflict with the law. We offer individual and group counselling, crisis intervention, release planning, referrals, transitional housing, and community education.
